Norwegian Data Center Conference / NDCC

September 21-22 we welcome you to a two day conference and dinner at Scandic Fornebu. This is the first of what will become a yearly flagship data center conference in Oslo. The conference will span two days and bring together industry, government and the wider ecosystem.

Day one will be a high-level conference focused on geopolitics, Norwegian policy, artificial intelligence, power generation, grid infrastructure, the energy system, and the intersection of nature and climate. The programme will address how these factors shape the framework for industrial development and long-term competitiveness. Day two is dedicated to the supplier industry. We will gather operators and suppliers for pitches, presentations and panel discussions, building on the successful format of last year’s supplier day.

Talent Day 2026

08:30-15:30

Talent Day 2026 is annual career event organized by Forces DC and NDI for the Norwegian data center industry, running this year on 24 September at Construction City Oslo as part of Nordic Data Center Week.

Event puts 200+ students, engineers and career-changers in the same room as the companies hiring them - for a full day of panels, career stories and direct conversations. It's become one of the few places where that actually happens.

Norway has more than 100 BNOK in planned data center investments. The industry will need the people to build and run it all — and Talent Day is where that gap starts to close.

Real career stories. Direct access to employers. Practical sessions on how to get in — whether you’re finishing a degree, moving from oil & gas, or just wondering if this sector is for you.

Meet 200+ students, engineers and career switchers actively looking for their next move in the sector. If your company is hiring, this is a direct line to talent - no recruiter filter, no CV files. Free for participants, seats limited.

Webinar: Can Data Centers Be Good Grid Citizens?

10:00 - 10:30

Data centers are at the heart of digitalization, AI innovation, and economic growth. As demand for computing power continues to rise, so does the discussion around their impact on power systems, grid capacity, and local communities. But what if data centers could contribute to the electricity system rather than simply consume power?

As part of Nordic Data Center Week, Eaton invites you to a 30-minute webinar exploring how modern data centers can play a more active role in supporting a resilient, efficient, and sustainable energy future. In this webinar, we'll discuss how data centers can evolve from being large energy consumers to becoming active contributors to grid resilience, renewable integration, and a more sustainable energy future.

The session will conclude with a live chat, giving you the opportunity to engage directly with our experts, ask questions and share your perspectives. Participation: Free and open to everyone. Whether you work in the data center industry, the energy sector, policymaking, or simply have an interest in the future of digital infrastructure and sustainable energy systems, we encourage you to join the conversation.

Link to registration will be posted soon.
