As in previous years, Norwegian Datacenter Industry will participate at the Datacloud Global Congress in Cannes, together with the Nordic data center industry associations from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, and Sweden. Together, we will be present at a joint Nordic Pavilion. Please stop by us at stand 204!

In collaboration with our Nordic partners, we are also hosting the Nordic panel session “The Nordic Approach: Why Energy-Smart Data Centers Are Becoming Europe’s Best Neighbours” on Wednesday June 3rd 14:45-15:30 at Innovation Stage.

This panel explores how concepts such as sector coupling, energy hubs, smart grids, and tripartite collaboration between industry, energy actors, and authorities are beginning to translate into real-world projects. In these projects, data centers are co-located with renewable generation, contribute to district heating, and operate behind-the-meter or off-grid solutions that reduce grid pressure and support local acceptance.

The discussion focuses on what is already working, and what is still evolving: concrete numbers, operating models, and policy frameworks that can enabled projects to move faster. Read more about the panel session here.
